KAYWELL INTERIORS – DEFINING DESIGN



PALM BEACH, FL (January 24, 2012) Interior designer, Margaret Kaywell of Kaywell Interiors, LLC is now accepting design consultation for new clients. Established in 1996 and a Florida licensed professional, a member of the The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), qualified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and an Accredited Professional of GREENLeaders, Kaywell offers services in residential, country club, commercial, corporate, hospitality, and health care interiors.

Beginning in Dallas, Kaywell established practices with considerable success throughout the Lone Star State and Los Angeles before settling in Palm Beach in 2001. It is here that Kaywell spearheaded the historic adaption of Henry Flagler’s first Palm Beach residence, Seagull Cottage. By interpreting the circa 1886 Victorian Interiors into functioning commercial and classroom spaces, Kaywell was honored with the ASID Design Excellence Award for Historical Restoration in 2010. Kaywell has worked on several private residences in and around Palm Beach blending her natural talent and broad project experience to create innovative designs for her clients. Her trained eye for creating esthetic beauty balancing social, environmental, and economic systems and complementing the client’s own sense of style is the mission of Kaywell Interiors.

In addition to the residential success of Kaywell Interiors ranging from a log cabin in Montana to a movie stars home in Los Angeles, to beach houses in Florida, the firm has also designed the interiors of several retirement facilities in cities including: Chicago, Deerfield Beach, Glen Cove, and Palm Springs. Kaywell Interiors also designed the commercial interiors for Met Life in Dallas working closely with the corporate client to produce a striking and functional corporate interior, and has enjoyed considerable success creating interiors for the hotel, country club, restaurant, condominium, hospital, healthcare, corporate, and aviation industries. One of our firm’s favorite projects was the complete renovation of the Columbian Country Club (now The Honors Country Club), located in Carrolton, Texas and Kaywell is looking for similar country club projects throughout South Florida.

Margaret Kaywell received her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from DePauw University and began her career in 1989 in Dallas, Texas where she also received her Associate of Arts with a Technical Certificate in Interior Design from El Centro College in Dallas Texas, also with Honors. Kaywell is currently pursuing her Masters in Art from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
